What AMSY Energy is
AMSY Energy is an independent publication about household energy: what bills include, what home upgrades cost, and which assistance programs exist. We write for homeowners and renters who want a clear answer before they spend money or fill in a form.
Who writes the guides
Guides are published by the AMSY Editorial Team. We do not publish individual author profiles. Instead, every article lists the sources it relies on and the date we checked them, so you can verify any claim yourself.
How we work
- We start from primary sources: government agencies, regulators, and the tariffs and program pages that utilities and administrators publish.
- We cite each source in the article and say when we read it.
- We state the limits of what we found. If a figure comes from an older document, we say so.
- We do not invent statistics, and we do not average numbers from sources we could not open.
Corrections
If you spot an error, email [email protected] with the page address and the source that contradicts us. We check it, correct the article and note the change on the page.
How the site is funded

Not professional advice
Our guides are for general information. They are not legal, tax, financial or engineering advice. Program rules, prices and eligibility change, so confirm details with your utility, your state agency or a qualified professional before you act.
